How bookings and appointment requests work

If you sell time, your website can take real bookings — a customer chooses an available appointment. We set it up with you and connect the calendar you already keep. Until setup is complete, or when availability cannot be confirmed, the site takes a request for you to confirm instead. You can also choose requests from the start. If you already use a booking service, we link to that.

With Standard booking, customers choose a service and an available appointment. Setup includes your hours, appointment lengths and the calendar connection. The site clearly distinguishes a confirmed booking from a request that still needs your confirmation.

Email reminders, calendar invitations, a waiting list and standing appointments are included. Standing appointments keep a few upcoming visits in the diary and replenish them as they are used, within the booking horizon. They are not an unlimited reservation of future dates.

If you already use Booksy, Square, Calendly or another booking service, we can send people there. Their fees and reminder settings remain with that provider.
