Stopping the service

Cancel from your account or tell us. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Your website stays up until the end of the period you have paid for. After that it becomes a simple holding page with your contact details rather than disappearing, email we provide keeps working for 30 more days. If we registered your web address, renewal continues as a separate $25/year subscription when the monthly service ends, unless you arrange a transfer or stop renewal with us. The address stays yours and transfers are free. Nothing you have written is deleted.

You can download your website files and photographs from your account before or after you leave. The download does not include Standard's hosted booking and account software. You will need replacement services if you host the files elsewhere.

If we registered your web address, renewal continues as a separate $25/year subscription when your monthly service ends. Tell us before then if you want to transfer it free or stop renewal and let it expire at the end of its registration period. Email you already host elsewhere is unaffected. If we provide your inboxes, arrange to move them within the 30-day period after your membership ends.

The launch fee is not refundable — your site is built and shown to you before you are charged anything. You can cancel the monthly service at any time up to the day before your next payment, and your site stays online until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not prorate or refund part-months.
